As you may have heard along the grapevine, the production hive caught up last month to talk about all that was last year, and what this year may be. We are extremely excited to announce that Modifyre will return to the paddock from 7 - 12 July, 2021.
Tickets will be capped at 500 participants so make sure you secure your magical spot. More details will be coming soon so be sure to watch the website or socials for updates.
Those interested in bringing art or a theme camp this year, grant applications and registrations will be opening shortly after tickets go on sale.
Head to our website for more info!
WE WANT YOUR VOTE FOR THIS YEAR'S THEME!
Each year the community chooses a theme for our burn to help guide art and provide inspiration for the year ahead. From the initial production meeting the team have compiled a short list of theme suggestions for this year’s event and we wanted to put it to ALL OF YOU to choose.
The power is in your hands – follow the link below and vote for your top choice!
The theme options for this year are:
Common KINDlings
Something vaguely positive
The Paddock that Time Forgot
Night Terra
You have until midnight on Friday 12 February 2021 to cast your vote so make sure you vote now, it will only take 2 minutes!
THERE'S STILL SOME ROLES TO FILL FOR THIS YEAR'S EVENT...
Keen to get involved, but not sure how?
Missed the meeting but still have a burning desire to participate?
Without the tireless effort year round from community members gifting their time (mostly in the background), this event wouldn’t even be a thing! And as the old saying goes, many hands make light work.
We are looking for some enthusiastic and energetic peeps to join our production team. We currently meet monthly in the lead up to the event. There are many different ways you can get involved as well.
To see what positions are still available on this year's crew, head here to check out the list!
THE BURN ARTS AGM IS COMING UP
BURN Arts Inc. invite you to join us for the 2021 Annual General Meeting.
Burn Arts is the governing body of Modifyre. As well as being responsible for supporting production of the event they aim to nurture art, projects and community participation in events all year round. The current committee has been in the process of finalising our Strategic Plan to reflect our goals and vision for the next five years. We will be dusting off the cobwebs and breathing new life into it after last year threw a spanner in the works for most of the world.
Come along to get an update on what we’ve been up to and help us define the future of BURN Arts for the years to come. Cast your vote for the committee members who will carry the torch for the year ahead. There’s also plenty of other ways you can get involved; from helping us achieve the strategic plan within our community, to overseeing the direction and future of the organisation on our board. If you have a knack for governance and a passion for arts then please get in touch with chair@burn-arts.org to chat more and grab a nomination form.
