AUSPICING SERVICES
What is auspicing? As part of our year-round artist support services, BURN Arts inc. can run government grant funding through our books on your behalf. This ensures good financial management (making your application stronger) and saves you from the tax implications of having large sums of funding in your personal bank account.
In return, we take a 5% auspicing fee, which you write into the grant budget when you apply.
Planning to apply? Email to find out more. *It is important to note that if you plan to apply, you will need to contact us a few weeks before the due date as grants often require confirmation in writing.
THE BURN ARTS REGIONAL NETWORK
IN ORDER TO LIVE UP TO OUR NAME, IN 2019 WE OPTED TO FORMALISE OUR NETWORK WITH NOMINATED COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS THROUGHOUT REGIONAL QUEENSLAND AND NORTHERN NSW
OUR GOALS ARE:
-
To ensure that regional members outside of the Brisbane city centre feel included and have equal opportunity to contribute to the community.
-
To grow our membership base, theme camps and community in regional areas.
From February 2019, we’ve started small with the Northern Rivers area, and plan to grow the network as this new program finds its feet.
Watch this space!
If you live regionally and would like to get involved, or better involved, in our community, you can contact your Regional Champion for updates on the committee’s and the community’s activities, support to hold fundraisers and events, and for a more chances to connect socially.
