Modifyre 2019 Planning Updates

Here’s Smokey our Town Planner with a summary of the Modifrye 2019 Site Planning forum, held early March this year in West End...

Under the croft of House Conspiracy a small but dedicated crew gathered to discuss the future of the Modifyre site in Yelarbon State Forest. Some words and slides were presented by Tanya Kirkegaard, Chris Holt and myself before the crowd were invited into the discussion. Tanya spoke about the cultural heritage of the area, the Native Title process and proposed some great ways in which we can incorporate sacred spaces and mythology into the layout. Chris' knowledge of dirt once again astounded all as he shed light on limitations and opportunities within the paddock and how to reduce our physical impact. I spoke briefly about the approaches of other burns and presented some rough ideas for this year's plan.

All in all a productive session which we hope will yield some exciting results. Stayed tuned!
