A message from Keepers of the Flame

How much do you know about the history of Modifyre?

We are so proud of our Modifyre get-together, where we have achieved so much in such a few years.

Together we have built amazing effigies and temples, forged unique traditions, and overcome huge obstacles with grace and grit. We have made a name for ourselves in the Burnerverse and most importantly we have built a strong community that loves to celebrate together.

It is time to gather the memories, stories, photos, and essential history of each of our burns before it is forever lost. The Keepers of the Flame custodians are asking for your help to collect this knowledge.

We’ve created a form to collect any information you have from past events. Please forward this link to anyone that you think might have information, especially those who may have been more active in our community in the past.

The best part of this effort is a commitment to publish the equivalent of a simple history book on our website which anyone can search by year. Want to know who designed the dragonfly effigy? Want to know what year the Social Butterflies battled with the Mantis Militia? Was 2021 the only year that Modifyre could be jokingly called Mudifyre?

By gathering the history via this form we can ensure that everything submitted is presented in a compatible format, ready to be slotted into a proforma of our website history book layout. The aim is to prevent being swamped with essay length stories or albums of photos or videos that overstretch our storage capacity.

With your help and my many hands working together we can get this done and our proud history can be shared with everyone in the Burner community.
