Performances & Workshops

Whether it be pop-up theatre or an exotic dance, live music or a bangin’ DJ set, interactive workshops, spoken word, fire twirling, or a multi-media extravaganza, we love all kinds of performance at Modifyre. And while we do not provide a Main Stage for you to strut your stuff, we can help you find a suitable venue, and hopefully an adoring audience.

When planning your workshop or performance, consider how you might turn your fellow participants into active contributors to the creative process. Below are just some of the ways you might stage a performance at Modifyre. Once you've found a spot that's right for you, don't forget to Register and get listed in the Event Guide!

It may be the base from which a roving performance is staged.

We really like fire at Modifyre. Fire art, effigies, flame effects, and of course, fire spinning. While we have plenty of room for fire performance at the event, we must also be mindful of the pristine bushland surrounding the site. If you’d like to spin at Modifyre, please get in touch with the F.L.A.M.E. team and let them know you’re coming. You'll get all the lowdown on burning safely at the event, and they’ll get you involved with the official fire celebrations – the opening ceremony, the Bug burn, and the Temple burn.
